It is an overclocked card with a factory-fitted triple-fan cooler

The Radeon R9 290X graphics card is AMD's strongest single-GPU video board available right now, but there are many versions of it, and PowerColor has just previewed one that will best quite a few of the others.

At least that's about as much as we can guess, since the company hasn't released any info yet.

In fact, there are only some photos of it to be found online, and even those were leaked by a third party.

Anyway, the card is called PowerColor Radeon R9 290X PCS+ and has a triple-fan cooler, as well as a factory-overclocked GPU. Not sure what the clocks are though.

That said, the board seems to use the same reference design as most other AMD R9 290X boards, but probably with different components on the PCB.

The cooler is using the board as a launching ramp. It has aluminum fins, copper heatpipes and three 80 mm fans.
