The whales' and the trainers' bodies form the shape of a heart

For some reason, I believe that a certain animal rights group (and, yes, I mean PETA) will not exactly jump up and down with excitement when laying eyes on this picture, should this ever happen.

Oddly enough, I find myself agreeing with the green group, at least this one time.

According to Daily Mail, the picture was taken at the Harbin Pole Aquarium in China's Heilongjiang province.

It appears that such shows are organized at this facility on a yearly basis, the same source details.

Staff at the aquarium say that the performance is meant to show just how close the animals living at this aquarium are to their trainers.

I am the first to admit that the way the white whales' and the trainers' bodies work in unison to form the shape of a heart is pretty amazing, yet I still think marine mammals belong in the ocean and not on some underwater stage.
