Adorable peccary pup goes flying through the air, all that's missing is a red cape

Earlier this month, the San Francisco Zoo announced the birth of six Chacoan peccary pups. It may be that all the pups are utterly adorable, but one has a top-secret superpower: it can fly.

I guarantee that your mind is not playing any tricks on you, and that this pup truly is just one red cape away from being crowned everybody's favorite new superhero.

Now that this picture has emerged, I dare say it's time to call all those friends that have said that they will do something for you when pigs fly, and cash in on that promise.

Joking aside, Chacoan peccaries are currently listed as an endangered species in Paraguay, Bolivia and Argentina. According to Zoo Borns, the main threats to the species' long-term survival are habitat loss and illegal hunting.
