Tiger cub gets to play outside its enclosure for the first time in two months

The picture above was taken only a few days ago at the San Francisco Zoo. Apparently, the tiger cub featured in it is now about two months old, and nothing if not ready and willing to explore the world outside its enclosure.

However, since this was the tiger cub's first chance to play outside, it is quite understandable why the only thing that seems to be going through its adorable head is “Mon Dieu, what are these green things sticking out of the ground?”

Needless to say, the tiger cub's mother has absolutely no intention of letting it try to make head and tail of the world around it on its own.

Quite the contrary: the tigress is towering over the cub, and appears to be encouraging it to hang in there and make the most of these new experiences.
