As reported, West Texas was just hit by a massive dust storm that ended up killing one man and injuring 17 others.

These series of events have caused quite a media stir, and this picture showing what the storm looks like when seen from above is bound to become viral in a matter of hours, seeing how it has already been retweeted by numerous individuals.

The picture was uploaded by a meteorologist in Oklahoma, and sources report that it was taken from a 737 that was sent to fly above the dust storm.

One would not be able to tell just by looking at the picture, yet it seems that the city of Lubbock in northwestern Texas is hiding somewhere beneath this sand and dust.

Several specialists believe that, as climate change and global warming keep toying with our planet's natural balance, such events will become ever more frequent.
