14 DAY TRIAL // A few days ago, I introduced you to a video showing a one-hour-old Sumatran tiger cub cuddling with his mother. The baby tiger featured in the picture above is the very same one, only that this time we get to see him being weighed.
Our Amazing Planet says that, when he was born, the baby tiger only weighed about 3 pounds (roughly 1.4 kilograms). Still, it will probably not be long until he starts getting bigger and stronger.
As one can easily notice, the cub is currently so young and helpless that he cannot even keep his eyes open.
Because of this, he spends most of his time together with his mother, hiding from the public eye.
Those wishing to see the tiger cub up close will be able to do so towards the end of May or the beginning of June, when zookeepers believe that both he and his mother will go on display at the Sacramento Zoo.
