The cub's mother patiently waits for the little rascal to figure things out

While out exploring the Arctic, wildlife photographer Andy Rouse chanced to come across a family of polar bears.

The two polar bear cubs and their mother were making their way along a frozen beach, and at one point found that they had to climb over some rocks.

The mother bear had no difficulties overcoming this obstacle, but one of its cubs found that, as fun as walking and running might be, climbing over a rock is nothing if not a hassle.

The picture above shows its clinging to the rock, seemingly unable to figure out where it is supposed to put its feet in order to move forward.

According to Daily Mail, it took a while for the polar bear cub to climb the rock, and join its mother. When it finally succeeded, it seemed fairly proud of its accomplishment.
