29-year-old photographer Vera Salnitskaya has recently had the chance to visit Russia's Novosibirsk Zoo. While there, she has snapped some pictures of a polar bear cub and its mom.

One of these pictures, available above, shows the cub cuddling with its mom. From where I stand, this photo is proof enough that the baby polar bear loves and adores its mother, and that the latter could not be prouder of its offspring.

Daily Mail informs that the polar bear cub pictured above was born at Novosibirsk Zoo last year, on December 11. It is a female, and keepers are now working on finding a suitable moniker for it.

Together with keepers at Novosibirsk Zoo, photographer Vera Salnitskaya says that the polar bear cub and its mom have a very special relationship, and that watching them spend time together is sure to put a smile on anyone's face.

“It is almost impossible to watch them together because is so pure love, the kind you can only dream about. Such love and tenderness,” the 29-year-old photographer told the press in a recent interview.

“You look at them and just feel that these are the most perfect mother and daughter relations you have even seen,” Vera Salnitskaya went on to say.
