14 DAY TRIAL // I can't imagine a better way to start the week than see a panda bear cub getting a big, sloppy kiss from his mom.
The panda cub was born at Zoo Madrid a few months ago, on August 30. He now weighs about 8 pounds (3.6 kilograms), and keepers say that he is a tad too puffy for his age.
Fear not, nobody has yet called him “fat” to his face. Come to think about it, it's highly unlikely that anyone will ever dare offend him in this manner.
And even if they do, I dare say it's even more unlikely that he would care about what others have to say about him.
Zoo Borns tells us that the panda cub was born to mother Hua Zai Ba. The panda mom is doing a great job looking after it, which is probably why the cub's waistline has grown to such an impressive size.
The panda cub is still unnamed, and keepers ask that ordinary folks help them find a suitable moniker for him. Head over to the official Facebook page for Zoo Madrid to vote on a name for this adorable furball.
