By the looks of it, the king of beasts is no stranger to such problems, hence this lion’s desperate attempts to hide its face from the camera.
In all fairness, it is quite likely that the lion merely wished to keep the sun from getting into its eyes, yet it looks to me that the theory that he was in fact a tad camera-shy is far more entertaining.
According to Daily Mail, this picture was taken in Sabyinyo, eastern Africa, by amateur photographer Nelis Wolmarans.
“He covered his eyes as if to hide himself. It was a really unique moment,” the latter commented with respect to his seeing the lion behave in this peculiar manner.
