The bear grew tired after desperately trying to get its paws on some fish

For many folks living in the city, fish fillets come easy. All one has to do to get some is get up bright and early in the morning five days a week, go to work, actually work, and repeat this process until the company decides that it's paycheck time.

If one happens to be a brown bear living in the wild, however, fish is a rare delicacy, and one must work long and hard to sink their teeth into this culinary delight. If you don't believe my words, just have a look at the picture above.

According to Daily Mail, the photo was taken by Pat and George Walsh in Canada, and the only reason why the bear featured in it was holding on to a log hoping that this would help it stay afloat was because it had grown desperately tired after trying to catch some fish.

Pat and George recollect that, before grabbing hold of the log, the bear spent some time fighting against the current. At one point, it decided that enough was enough, and that, as delicious as salmon might be, no harm could come from taking a break from fishing.

The good news is that, eventually, the bear did manage to catch a fish, and pretty much ate it all in one bite. “It took him about five minutes to catch a fish and ended up with a large Chinook Salmon so it was worth the effort in the end,” Pat and George told the press in an interview.
