14 DAY TRIAL // Van Damme's epic split sparked quite a lot of frenzy, yet it would appear that the actor has some competition. And not just from Chuck Norris, but from a rather petite bird.
The tiny creature that is busy doing the splits in the picture above was caught on camera by photographer Jeffrey Van Daele.
The gymnastics performance took place in the Bourgoyen-Ossemeersen Nature Reserve in Ghent, Belgium, Daily Mail tells us.
According to the photographer, the bird did the splits while taking a break from eating.
It is unclear whether it was trying to show off its gymnastics skills, or if maybe it just felt like doing some exercise to burn a few calories and feel less guilty about the size of its meal.
Apparently, Jeffrey Van Daele did not even realize that the creature's performance was very similar to Van Damme's Volve advert at first. Thus, his friends were the ones who drew his attention to the resemblance.
