The scene was caught on camera in a nature reserve in Finland

While visiting the Martinselkonen Nature Reserve in Finland, photographers Dalia Kvedaraite and Giedrius Stakauskas chanced to stumble upon a brown bear mom that was busy teaching its three cubs how to properly climb a tree.

Luckily for us, the photographers managed to snap some pictures of these lessons in tree climbing and have recently shared them with the public.

One of these photos is available above, and it shows the brown bear mom holding tight to one side of a tree while one of its cubs is trying to hold on to the other.

According to the photographers, just one of the cubs eventually managed to make it all the way up to the top. The other two, however, settled for journeying just a few feet above ground before giving up on the endeavor.

Daily Mail informs that, once back on the ground, these two cubs found something better to do with their time. Thus, they started chasing each other around.

Later that day, all the cubs ended up holding tight to tree branches and swinging their behinds in the air. This is because a fairly large male crossed the brown bear family's path, and the cubs, together with their mom, were left with no choice but seek refuge up in nearby trees or risk a confrontation.
