Picture taking has become one of the tech generation’s obsessions. We snap shots at everything: people, food, cars or everything we find shiny enough to catch our fleeting attention. So it’s no wonder that photo editing tools have become more and more necessary to the common folk everywhere.

So Socialian has just released a special photo editing app for Android tablets powered by Intel processors. The software is called PicsArt Photo Studio and has been especially designed with a tablet experience in mind.

With this purpose set out, the dev team accessed Intel tools and code from the Intel Developer Zone, in order to bring life to the app.

“The tools Intel provided helped us to enhance PicsArt Photo Studio for the unique capabilities of new Android tablets. Now owners of Android tablets can take, transform and share their photographic experiences,” said a member of the Socialian team.

There's a whole host of tools to be taken advantage of with the app like manipulations, masks, collages, frames, borders, stickers, text effects, clipart graphics, overlays, callouts and much, much more.

The app developers boast that PicsArt Photo Studio is capable of delivering professional photo effects like cartoonizer, pencil watercolor, comic or neon to the photographs you snap with the tablet's camera.

The app is available for download in the Google Play Store.
