Paris Hilton is the only person that pops into mind when you say 'rich trash', or 'good for nothing celebrity', or 'useless excuse for a human being' and many, many other things in this line. At least, that's what I hear (you know I personally have nothing against her - she is wonderful, intelligent and very talented - my one and only role model in life).
In recent months, picking on our all-time favorite heiress has become a form of high art. It all began with Banksy, the British guerrilla artists who doctored 500 copies of her album last year, replacing the photos on the cover and the titles of the songs. Thus, we got to see how Paris would look like if she had the head of a dog on her shoulders instead of her gorgeous angelic one, next to the words 'Every time someone asks me how I am I hesitate for a little bit too long' and 'Every CD you buy puts me even further out of your league'. Also, most of the bubbly tracks like 'Stars Are Blind' and 'Fightin' Over Me' were replaced with more adequate tunes like 'Why Am I Famous?', 'What Have I Done?' and 'What Am I For?'.
Months later after this (useless to say, no one moved a finger to catch Banksy or to punish him to violating Paris Hilton's 'art'), another guerrilla artist targeted the heiress in general and her reality show in particular, by altering one of the promo posters for 'The Simple Life'. Then, Paris was under attack again, this time from a storage company that released a poster ad with a dog looking like Tinkerbell. The caption below it said 'Your closet's so shallow, it makes Paris look deep'.
And, now, the big moment: yet another artist takes aim at Paris and her way of behaving when the cameras are rolling. Vinchen is also a guerrilla street artist and his latest interest is Paris: he took one of her most revealing photos (taken when she was a lil' bit more tipsy - you know, a lady never gets drunk!), amplified it and then displayed it on the Columbus, Ohio Hilton Hotel. Sure, you're gonna say, Paris showing off some private part of her body is nothing new to us but bear with me some more.
The whole charm of the poster resides in the words on it: 'Hilton, Pampered & Privileged. For over 80 years the Hilton name has been synonymous with elegance and class. A tradition that continues today'. What more can we say? The man makes a brilliant point! When contacted by a website that deals only in street art, Vinchen says the main thing that motivated him into taking a stand against Paris was that, quote, 'The Hilton Hotel presents itself as a paragon of excellence and class. The brand's image badly needed updating'.
