Folder Colorizer is a very small utility that comes with options to let users choose different colors for the icon of any folder on their computers.

Specifically designed to help Windows users manage their folders a bit easier and bring on Microsoft’s operating system a feature that has been around for many years on Mac OS X, Folder Colorizer now works on the new Windows 8 and 8.1 too.

Version 1.2.6 offers support for Windows XP, Vista, and 7 as well, relying on a simple screen that displays all available colors.

Users are required to simply right-click a specific folder and choose any of the eight pre-configured colors. At the same time, it also packs options to set up your own colors and save them for later use.

Overall, this is a pretty helpful utility that now works on Windows 8.1 too, so go ahead and download Folder Colorizer to see what it’s up to.
