Yesterday, Google announced major updates for Picasa Web Albums, increasing the file storage size to 1 GB among with other interesting improvements. Today, the company reveals one more update for Picasa, adding interoperability with Blogger, the most popular blog service on the Internet. The blog owners are now able to view the uploaded photos using Picasa, helping them organize and manage the images with ease.

"Head over to Picasa Web Albums and now you can! We've been working closely with the Picasa team on this project - all the photos you've uploaded since December will appear in an album there, and we're working on migrating your older photos as well. (It'll take a while though - there are a lot of them.) Each of your blogs now has its own album in Picasa Web Albums, which is exciting because you now have a photo management interface for your blog's photos. Be careful when you delete photos though, because deletions will affect both your blog and its album. Lastly, Blogger photos are now part of Picasa Web Albums' 1GB of free quota, which can be upgraded," the Google employees mentioned in a blog post.

Using the Blogger - Picasa interoperability, the users are now able to organize their uploaded photos with a simple web interface that provides almost the same functions as the downloadable tool. It seems like the company also updated the web interface of the solution because it included a small table displaying the latest improvements for Picasa. As you can see in the picture attached to the article, you're now able to include your photos in the public search using a simple configuration dialog that requires you to choose yes or no.
