14 DAY TRIAL // Google won’t release an official app for its Picasa photo sharing service anytime soon, but there are several interesting alternatives available in the Store right now.
Picasa HD is clearly one of the best apps in this particular category and, thanks to a new update released today, it should work even more smoothly on all Windows 8 devices.
The new version packs several unnamed bug fixes, but also a new option to display captions on the thumbnails.
The app continues to be available for free on all Windows 8 devices, despite offering a great feature package which includes options to share albums or photos, search in your albums, access the EXIF, create a slideshow or get quick info on your pictures with the live tile support.
