Physicists Claim Evidence of Universe Before Big Bang

Time may have existed previously to this universe

What was before this universe is currently anybody's guess, but it is highly likely that it was preceded by a similar universe and therefore time existed before the Big Bang. The evidence to back this theory is said to be found in the Cosmic Microwave Background radiation left behind by the light created when the universe was only 400,000 years old and could explain why time seems to move in a single direction, when logic says it should be reversible.

The CMB fills the entire space of the universe in all directions and although it is generally relatively smooth, it does contain some temperature fluctuations that are associated with the galaxy clusters we see today in the visible universe. The same fluctuations could be evidence of the fact that the current universe inflated from a previous one, says Dr Adrienne Erickcek from the California Institute for Technology.

According to Erickcek and her colleagues, the data provided by NASA's Wilkinson Microwave Anisotropy Probe points towards a scenario in which the current universe suddenly expanded into space.

"A universe could form inside this room and we'd never know", said the co-author of the study Professor Sean Caroll at the American Astronomical Society, because the phenomenon would be rather unspectacular. The study originally started as an attempt to explain why time moves only in one direction. Caroll says that although the laws of physics allow time to be completely reversible on the microscopic scale, on the macroscopic scale this never happens.

It is widely believed that this is a consequence of the second law of thermodynamics, which states that a system will always evolve from a low to a high entropy, simply put, from a highly ordered system to complete disorder. It basically says that the universe began its life in an ordered state.

"Every time you break an egg or spill a glass of water you're learning about the Big Bang", said Professor Carroll.

The theory of the Caltech team is just emerging, thus there is still much work to be done before it comes on solid ground. One of the first things would be to calculate the probability of one universe being created from another. The WMAP measurements are already pointing towards possible evidence of the presence of a previous structure from a parent universe, since temperature fluctuations in the CMB radiation appear to be about 10 percent stronger on one side of the universe.

"We're trained to say there was no time before the Big Bang, when we should say that we don't know whether there was anything - or if there was, what it was", Professor Carroll added. If the theory is proven correct, it would be the first time when evidence of the past history of the universe before the Big Bang is revealed.

The Big Bang has been disproven. Anyone interested in knowing the truth, search for Kent Hovind on evolution.

Just read about Kent Hovind theroy and its way out there as much as Sciencetology and seems to have no facts to back these claims .
Plus both of the founders of these ideas have been to jail for using religon as a way to scam money off Uneducated people .

Science invest billions of dollars to understand some Universals rules, but i have a better idea, sometimes I am smarter than Einstein.
Time does not really exist is a human invention to simplify the secuence interaction between things... That means you can not really reproduce the reality 2 times the same things, just similars interactions for a level of human conceptualization. That concept traduced to the atom level means each one its a new Universe to be created and or modified... so there is no big bag, but many little ones if you want to say it in some human understanding level...

There's actually a very simple answer to the question what was before this Universe and all forms of life. The answer is simply that there was no previous life or universe of any kind. There was no time. God created everything we see here today.
What are these people going to say next? That there was a Big Bang for that universe too?
One question. If the Law of Conservation of Mass states that mass cannot be CREATED or destroyed, where did this universe and life come from? And if the Law of Conservation of Energy states that energy cannot be CREATED or destroyed, where did all of this energy come from?

There's a very simple answer to that. That God created everything and everyone for a purpose. To have a a relationship with Him and serve Him while we live throught our life. We would've lived longer had if not been for the sin that Adam brought into this world.
If we create/build a web page for example, is it reasonable to say that the web page built itself?

Sorry, but, I don't buy into the whole "God" created everything business. This may offend a few people, but, "God" can be interpreted many different ways. And, NO ONE can provide concrete proof that thier "God" is any more real than the next. I am not a religious person, by any means.. I believe that religion is nothing more than a man made hoax, no different from the hundreds of other religions, taught/worshiped throughout the time of man.

Think about it... miracles? virgin mothers? floods that covered the entire planet, when there's not enough water here to even come CLOSE to doing that? Sure, it makes for good reading, but, it's nothing more than a sequence of stories, passed down for hundreds/thousands of years. Is there a entity out there, more intelligent than us? That's certainly possible.. Is there a "God", that created everything in the universe? Well, that just doesn't make very much sense, now does it? But, hey, I may be wrong. I guess I'll find out when I pass on..

God? Don't be silly. Scientists can prove, in a lab, that consciousness exists after death!. That doesn't mean there is a God. If you believe in God, you cannot possibly believe in Evolution, so you might as well believe in fairies, and angels. Prior to the big bang? I assume consciousness is primary, and pretty soon, in the next fifty years, we will be able to show that this is so.

there seems to have no scientific consensus of the beginning and end of time, the universe and everything that exista in it; similarly, no religion or concepts of gods or God unifies all.when will we ever learn fully the truth of everything that we keep searching when we die its all nothing. after all we can never know what future generations come to believe and scientifically discover. can we just learn to live side by side for the brief moment of our passing time by enjoying each others presence?
