PhpMyAdmin, the popular tool written in PHP and intended to handle the administration of MySQL databases, is now at version 4.2.7.

A new phpMyAdmin build, 4.2.7, has been released and this has got to be one of the smallest versions in the series. It only packs a few fixes, although the previous release, 4.2.7, brought some very interesting changes.

According to the changelog, the broken links on the home page have been fixed, an overlap in the navigation panel has been corrected, the action icons are now in a horizontal order, s_attention.png is no longer missing, an uncaught TypeError has been fixed, PMA 4.2.x and HHVM are compatible again, and the mysql_doc_template is now defined.

The previous release finally fixed the sorting, which no longer breaks the copy column feature. Also, the multi-column sorting is working again, the “New window” link (selflink) no longer disappears, the database name is again clickable, and a few other important modifications have been made.

A complete list of changes is available in the official changelog, which can also be found in the downloaded source archive. You can download phpMyAdmin 4.2.7 source right now from Softpedia, but you will have to compile the package yourself.
