Until recently, the Phottix Strato TTL flash trigger was only available for Canon owners, but now, the company announced the availability of a Nikon version of the popular Strato series.

The Strato TTL aims to provide an easy-to-use and affordable TTL flash triggering solution for photographers that don't want to spend a great deal of money on expensive Canon or Nikon gear.

Phottix Strato TTL doesn't feature the same fancy settings as the more expensive Phottix Odin model, but comes with a more compact design as well as a considerably lower price.

Moreover, Strato TTL can trigger more than hot shoe flashes and can be used successfully for elaborate studio shots thanks to its compatibility with various studio lighting equipment via the 3.5mm sync port.

In addition to that, the trigger comes with +/-3 stops EV adjustments in 1/3 stops increments as well as second curtain sync and high speed sync of up to 1/8000 of a second. The latest addition to the Strato series is able to control 4 different flash groups and has an effective operating range of 100m.

Another great feature of the Phottix Strato TTL transmitter is the included USB port, which allows you to upgrade the transmitter's firmware to benefit from the latest features available.

You can easily input the desired settings thanks to its small backlit LCD screen, but, at the same time, you could make changes regarding flash mode, AF assist light, exposure compensation, focal zoom and others right from your in-camera flash menu.

The Strato TTL flash trigger is compatible with other Strato series triggers as well as with the Phottix Atlas II allowing you to use it along with the aforementioned products anytime you might need it.

The Phottix Strato TTL flash trigger is available now via the official Phottix Store at a price of $145 / €105.
