Reportedly, Microsoft is getting ready to launch the Windows Phone flavor of its Photosynth application in the near future.

The Redmond-based software giant has promised the release of this software since a few months ago, but hasn’t provided an official launch date for it until now.

However, enthusiasts managed to discover that the Windows Phone flavor of the app has reached version 1.0 recently, which would suggest an imminent release, WPCentral notes.

The app would provide users with the possibility to stich photos together to create impressive, 360 degree panorama shots of places they visit. Viewers would be able to pan around images, zoom into them, or take advantage of other options as well.

The software is already available for the owners of iOS devices, and it was only a matter of time before the Windows Phone version of the software arrived.
