Microsoft’s Windows Phone 8 operating system is already seen as a great mobile platform by many, and it seems that it is about to get even better, as new, great applications are about to arrive on it.

The Photosynth Team announced on Twitter that the Windows Phone 8 app had entered final testing and that it should not be too long before being made generally available for users.

“News: WP8 Photosynth ‘lens’ app is in final testing. Will be released as soon as we've verified it on some final WP8 phones,” the team announced.

Photosynth is currently available in the Windows Phone Store for older devices, but Windows Phone 8 users cannot access it, most probably due to various incompatibilities. Stay tuned to learn more on when the software arrives on Microsoft’s latest mobile OS release.
