One of the companies who should deliver an Android-based tablet PC during the ongoing year is ViewSonic, and some photos with this device were just spotted into the wild.

The said device, supposedly called ViewPad 7, should hit the shelves with a 7-inch screen included into the mix, and is expected to become official at IFA in early September.

The ViewSonic Android tablet was spotted in some nice photos over at pocket-lint, though it is not fired up, and we cannot see how Google's mobile OS looks on it.

It seems that ViewSonic plans on packing a nice range of connectivity options with this device, including support for 3G networks, as well as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth capabilities.

A front-facing camera seems to have been added to the mix, most probably complemented by another photo snapper on the back. USB connectivity and a microSD slot are also there.

Moreover, we should see the 7-inch device brought to the market with GPS capabilities on board, and with other features too, all of which should be detailed as soon as the company makes that official announcement at IFA.

The Californian manufacturer is expected to announce more new ViewPad solutions before the end of the ongoing year, it seems, and Pocket-lint says that the device in these images might not be the 7'' slate, but another device from the maker.

When announcing the upcoming unveiling of this device, the company also mentioned another highly appealing tablet, which sports a 10-inch touchscreen and dual boot capabilities, and the news-site suggests this might be it.

However, they also note that the photos have the tag VPDA7500B-1, which does not come in line with this supposition.

Whether the ViewPad 7, or another device, this tablet PC should still feature the Android OS on board (the dual boot device would pair it with Windows 7, it seems), while looking pretty appealing, that's for sure.
