Photos of Pattinson, Stewart and Lautner on ‘Eclipse’ Set

As they’re waiting for “New Moon” to drop in theaters this November, fans of the “Twilight” series have yet another thing to entertain them and that’s the idea that there will never be a “Twilight” shortage, since the cast is now shooting for the third film. Twilight Lexicon, one of the biggest Twilight fansites, has photos of the main three stars on location in Vancouver.

Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner have all assembled on the set of “Eclipse,” the third installment in the franchise, currently shooting in Vancouver. Photos surfaced on the Internet show the Pattinson-Stewart duo sharing a joke and laughing in between takes, but also more serious, as they reprise their parts as the brooding vampire Edward and the accident-prone and lovely Bella, respectively.

As fans can see for themselves, it’s not only Robert that spent a while longer with the makeup crew, since Kristen too is in full Bella gear, including hair extensions and face makeup to look paler than in real life. Taylor, on the other hand, is pictured shooting a different scene, while he and a body double for Stewart are doing a scene riding a dirt bike together. Taylor as Jacob is wearing nothing but a black T-shirt and jeans, despite the harsh weather, because, as fans know, wolves have higher temperatures than humans, therefore they never feel cold.

Yesterday, it emerged that the so-called affair Pattinson had with Kristen was endangering the careers of both, because Summit bosses were not happy with their intention of going public with it. Despite the fact that both stars have repeatedly denied any romantic involvement past a purely platonic relationship, reports have it that they are head over heels in love with each other and that they are planning to go public, even if studio bosses have warned them to keep the secret for a while longer to avoid losing female fans.

“The producers took Rob and Kris aside and told them to keep their relationship under wraps for a few more months. But they’re so much in love, they can’t keep their hands off each other. They’re crazy about each other, and they want to shout it from the rooftops. But they’re also part of this massive machine called Twilight and producers have this thing timed with scientific precision.
