It is a wraparound capacitive pen that comes colored in red, green and orange

You all might remember that, back in February, LG patented a smartwatch-stylus hybrid device, Well, now the company has actually created a device based on that patent.

Although, granted, the device isn't an actual hybrid. It's just a stylus that can wrap around your wrist like a bracelet.

Normally, it looks like a wrist band, colored bright orange, red or green (no black or brown here, or any drab colors).

When you need to use a smartphone, tablet, notebook or anything else with a capacitive touchscreen, however, you can stretch it open and utilize it as a stylus.

All in all, the item could look a bit silly on you if you don't wear clothing of matching colors, but LG does, at least, offer a solution to the long-standing problem that smartphones have in regard to pens: there is no carrying slot for it.

No clue how much the thing costs though, which is a shame because the tag will be what makes or breaks this deal. Since the wristband isn't the most glamorous of accessories, a low price is kind of required to make up for it, especially since people have learned how to make do without styluses by necessity, so the pen isn't at all indispensable for phone owners.
