One of our favorite sayings these days goes, “pictures or it didn’t happen.” Those doubting that Taylor Swift was dating One Direction singer Harry Styles have just been proved wrong, as the first photos of the two as a couple have emerged online.
Rumors about the two have been making the rounds for several weeks now but, oddly enough, there were no photos to back them up.
They have surfaced on the net just now and, while they don’t include any PDA on the part of the two, they leave little room for doubt as to the state of their relationship.
“Less than 24 hours after Taylor Swift performed during KIIS-FM’s Jingle Ball at the Nokia Theatre in L.A, the country music superstar flew to New York City to spend time with One Direction’s Harry Styles,”
Us Weekly reports.
“After flirting on the X Factor set in mid-November, the musicians have been hoping to spend more time together — and they finally got their chance Dec. 2. Joined by a few pals, Swift, 22, and Styles, 18, were all smiles while visiting the Central Park Zoo,” the same media outlet reports.
During their date, photos started popping up online on Twitter and Facebook, from fans who stumbled across them but were not too startstruck to take a picture.
Us also notes that Taylor broke up with 18-year-old Conor Kennedy in October but was quick to find another man in her life because “she doesn’t like to be single.”
As we
informed you some time ago, Taylor and Harry were first romantically linked this spring but reports say it didn’t pan out because they were spending too much time apart.
They rekindled the romance a short while ago, but Styles’ fans are not too happy about it, taking to Twitter to threaten Taylor and send her incredibly nasty messages and
even death threats.
