14 DAY TRIAL // Rob Kardashian has been struggling with his weight problem for a very long time and all the criticism he’s been getting from his family for his apparent inability to lose the extra pounds, specifically from momager Kris Jenner and sister Kim Kardashian, have only made matters worse.
A report from earlier this month claimed that, in his attempt to get some sort of reprieve from this problem, he’d turned to self-medicating with prescription pills and even indulging a bit too much in weed and Sizzurp.
The same report, coming from unnamed insiders from his circle of friends, claimed that things were really getting out of hand because Rob wasn’t addressing the problem but merely trying to come up with even more unhealthy ways to avoid it. Meanwhile, he was sinking deeper into depression and piling even more pounds.
TMZ has photos that confirm that the weed and Sizzurp problem is real: just recently, Rob attended a drug-fueled party where he was photographed smoking pot and sitting next to plastic cups that, the e-zine believes, could have only contained the Codeine-based drink.
“You can see Rob holding a double cup... the container of choice for Sizzurp. The cup on the table actually has the words, ‘Codeine Boys’ emblazoned on it. He's also seen smoking weed,” the report says.
Apparently, the family is well aware of Rob’s problems and, after trying several times to get him to seek help for them, they’re done talking and are thinking of staging a proper intervention. Since Kris Jenner is the force behind everything happening in her children’s life, partly because they’re also her clients, she is probably the one working the extra hours to see this happen.
“Rob Kardashian's family wants Rob to get help for what they say is a very bad drug problem,” TMZ reports. There’s only one obstacle in the way, and that’s Rob himself. “We're told the Kardashians have been calling rehab facilities, but Rob refuses to go. They feel desperate because they don't know what to do and hope pictures like these may change Rob's mind,” says the same media outlet.
That last part, about how they “hope pictures like these may change Rob’s mind” could actually be taken to mean that they had them leaked themselves. After all, it is a known fact that Kris Jenner has been in bed with TMZ and several other major celebrity publications for years, leaking to them all kinds of details, from the most scandalous to the most mundane.
It could be that she’s thinking she can twist Rob’s hand and make him understand once and for all that he needs help by exposing him to the world like this. Or maybe he’s just making very lousy choices in friends these days, and they’re willing to sell him out like this at the drop of a hat.
