Before this month is over, mobile phone carrier Sprint is expected to have expanded the available range of Android devices on its network with two new devices, namely the Motorola Photon 4G and Samsung Conquer 4G.

Both handsets were already unveiled to the world, but nothing was officially announced on their arrival on shelves at the wireless services provider.

[admark=1]However, leaked info from Sprint shows that it should not be too long before both new devices become available for purchase.

The Samsung Conquer 4G should be put for sale at Sprint as soon as July 24th, while Photon 4G is listed there with a July launch window, without a specific release date.

As stated above, both new handsets arrive on shelves with Google's Android operating system on board, and they also offer support for Sprint's 4G services on the WiMAX network the company operates.

The Motorola Photon 4G should hit the market as a high-end smartphone, while the Conquer 4G from Samsung will arrive as a mid-level device.

Sprint went official with the Motorola Photon 4G last month, when it unveiled that the handset will arrive on shelves with Google's Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system on board, and with a great deal of high-end features.

It sports a dual-core 1GHz Nvidia Tegra 2 processor complemented by 1GB of RAM, a 4.3 inch qHD display, along with an 8MP camera on the back, and 16GB of on-board memory.

As for the Samsung Conquer 4G, it includes a single-core CPU, clocked in at 1GHz, with a 3.5 inch HVGA display complemented by a sliding QWWERTY keyboard, and a 3.2MP camera on the back.

Samsung's device runs under Android 2.3 Gingerbread as well, without the TouchWiz interface from its maker, but with support for the Sprint ID packages.

Provided that the rumors pan out, it should not be too long before Sprint makes an official announcement on the matter, so stay tuned to learn more on this.
