Egyptian artist Ahmad El-Abi, who describes himself as a “conceptual photographer,” created a hilarious new series of photos called Stuffed Hair.

For the new collection of pictures, the artist decided to take advantage of his own curly hair, adorning it with different unexpected objects and creating funny hairdos. The concept behind this project is very simple: he fills his curls with all kinds of colorful and fun items and then poses for amusing pictures that remind us of our childhood.

You can see him in the photos below with different quirky objects stuck in his hair, from lollipops and spaghetti noodles to paper boats, matches and Lego pieces. And clearly there are no bounds as to what kind of objects he could put in his mop next; the possibilities are endless and depend only on his imagination.

The whole thing started when Ahmad posted a picture of himself with rubber ducks in his hair on Instagram and, to his surprise, received a very positive reaction.

“I hope to inspire others to open their eyes, to do what they love and to discover more about what they can do, because when I started photography three years ago, I didn’t know I would be doing conceptual/creative photography,” the artist said, according to Huffington Post.

Enjoy the photo gallery below. It will surely put a smile on your face.
