PhotoScape is one of the top apps that got improved today, so in case you’re one of the users who installed an older version, you better get this build as soon as possible.

PhotoScape 3.6.5 comes with fixes for critical filter bugs, according to the official release notes.

“We fixed strange triangular graphical bugs & unintended V-shaped marks in the filters of Sharpen, Blur, Fake Tilt-Shift and Bloom,” the developers behind the project explained.

In addition, the update improved the Blue Brush, the JPEG quality option, the filter speed of sharpen, blur, bloom and color engraving, while also adding more crop ratios and other improvements.

Of course, Photoscape continues to work flawlessly on all Windows versions, including the 11-year-old XP and the newly-released Windows 8.
