On the first day of Paris Fashion Week, reality star and self-titled fashionista Kim Kardashian debuted a bold, drastic new look: platinum blonde hair. Because Kim errs a lot in terms of taking herself so seriously all the time, her new hairstyle soon became the butt of all jokes online.

Comparisons to Draco Malfoy, one of the bad guys in the “Harry Potter” film franchise, started popping up, with many commenters agreeing that this is where Kim must’ve looked for inspiration in her new look.

Of course, others found other fictional characters to compare her to, but the Draco parallels were in the bigger number - and more justified, if you ask me.

Tom Felton, the actor who played Draco in the movies, has weighed in on the debate, and he agrees: his character was a muse for Kim and husband Kanye West, who is believed to have told Kim to get this shocking makeover.      

You will find his Instagram post right under the text, followed by samples from what people are saying on Twitter about Kim’s new ‘do. The consensus is that the hair, combined with a fresh round of Botox and fillers, isn’t doing her any favors.

There are even voices in the blogosphere claiming that Kanye is slowly erasing all traces of an actual personality in Kim, that he’s turning her into his very own live doll.
