14 DAY TRIAL // Robin Hood stole from the rich and gave to the poor, but the Robin Hood Tax Group believes that a new tax on Wall Street transactions could actually “save” the American economy. So, they photobombed Jack Lew during a recent Senate hearing.
The hearing was broadcast on C-SPAN and it didn’t take long for viewers to notice two men in green hats and tunics in the background.
The above photo immediately went viral, but no one is happier about the extra attention than the Group.
“Robin Hood is not amused with all this talk of lower corp taxes, #JackLew. We need Robin Hood,” the Group says on Twitter, in a post accompanying the picture.
Robin Hood might not be amused, but the Internet sure is having a blast as we speak.
