Polar bear cubs are annoyingly adorable, even more so when they decide to go around acting like plump humans with way too much white fur growing on their body.

Take the cub featured in the photo accompanying this article for example. As if its cute face weren't enough to melt even the iciest of hearts, it got up on its hind legs and started waving when in front of the camera.

According to Daily Mail, this picture was taken by wildlife photographer Greg Harvey, who got to meet the polar bear cub while exploring Canada's Wapusk National Park.

At the time Greg Harvey laid eyes on the cub, the adorable young predator was just emerging from its den and stretching, most likely looking to get ready for the long day ahead of it.

“The polar bear cub stretched out a limb and it looked like she was waving,” the wildlife photographer detailed the encounter in an interview.

“She then smacked her paws together, perhaps to remove snow off her pads or to relieve an itch,” 43-year-old Greg Harvey went on to explain.

It is unclear whether or not the cub's mother was close by when Greg Harvey photographed the cub. Then again, chances are that this was not the case. Otherwise, the photo shoot would have probably been over in just a few seconds.
