The actor was the surprise guest at the Guns’ Las Vegas show over the weekend and, somehow, he managed to wear a getup that would give rapper Snoop Dogg a run for his pimping money.
Sipping red wine from a goblet, Cage modeled the latest in cowboy chic, with a large cowboy hat, leather cowboy pants, and golden shades. Always the man to opt for subtle, understate elegance, he also put on a blue coat and more jewelry than The King himself, Elvis Presley in his final years, when he was all about the cocktail rings and huge rhinestones.
Cage also added a few strings of beads. You know, for good measure.
However, before you label his outfit a major fashion fail, as you probably will, take a closer look at it: he’s wearing a white T-shirt with the Nicolas Cage meme. That’s like the Inception of all Inceptions right there.
The actor, who resides in Sin City, didn’t just pose with Andrew Dice Clay backstage: he was also asked to come up on stage at the end of the show, for the “final bow” of the night. The photo below confirms that. Seriously, Axl Rose only wishes he were as cool as Nic Cage.
