It really doesn’t take too much to realize that Hollywood has long run out of ideas, with some notable exceptions. Even posters look alike these days – you probably have no idea how much. Justin LeDuc has created a collage just to show you how much big movie studios rely on basically the same imagery to sell you on a new flick.

Basically, what you need to create a “good” movie poster these days is a hero, in whose hands you place a weapon, it can be anything, it doesn’t even matter.
Add a cloudy background, flying sparks and debris and you’re there, you’ve got yourself a “new” poster. You wouldn’t even believe how many movies have used this “poster recipe” already.
