14 DAY TRIAL // Nothing stands in the way of Kim Kardashian and the perfect opportunity to take a perfect selfie! Still, cropping your own daughter out of a photo seems a bit too cruel even for the woman who admits she takes selfies by the hundreds on a daily basis.
Yet it happened. Some hours ago, Kim posted the photo above to her Instagram account, with no caption. If you know anything about her personal life, you can tell that the little girl in her arms is her daughter with rapper husband Kanye West, North West, who’s a little over a year and a half.
Celebrity pundits call North, who goes by Nori at home, Ignori, a pun on “ignore” and “Nori” because of reports that Kim spends only as much time with her as is needed to snap a photo. In other words, North Ignori is just a prop in Kim’s hands, the fanciest and most adorable accessory she could have possibly hoped for.
This photo explains the Ignori nickname, just like responses to it also do. Kim would stop at nothing to get the perfect photo, even if that means cropping her daughter out of it. As we speak, her own fans are wondering when the day will come when North will be old enough to crop herself out of her mother’s pictures because she, in her selfishness, will still consider this acceptable behavior.
Personally, I would say that this outrage is a bit of an exaggeration – but I still find it hilarious that Kim, in her desperate bid to post countless selfies online, didn’t even bother to not cut Nori in half by crop. This is one photo that will probably not be in her book of selfies, “Selfish.”
