One year ago, the former wrestling star turned Hollywood’s biggest action movie star was sharing with fans a photo of himself when he was 15, giving us the impression that this was the most embarrassing photo he had ever taken.
He lied. That photo wasn’t even close to embarrassing, especially if you compare it to one that he posted on his Twitter the other day and is now going viral on Reddit.

Just like many of us, Dwayne too fell victim to the ‘90s. And, just like us, he too has photographic evidence of some of the times this happened to him.
In this particular photo, he’s rocking a fierce haircut with the most ‘90s fashion you can imagine: a black turtleneck with matching silver jewelry (with the chain worn on the outside, because how else would people be able to know you have it on?), high-waist blue jeans and, the most ‘90s item ever, a brown leather fanny pack.
According to Redditors, it’s that fanny pack that totally brings the outfit together, and I couldn’t agree more.
Now that we know that there were times when The Rock was less awesome than he is today, we can go back to loving him to the moon and back as before.
