14 DAY TRIAL // The symbolism Beyonce uses in her music videos, concerts and promo shots often leads to heated debate online and in the press but, this time, it’s a photo she posted on Instagram that’s getting a lot of people hot under the collar, and it’s not difficult to understand why.

Beyonce posted it without a comment and, according to reports, it was snapped on New Year’s Eve. That’s The Last Supper in the background and, if you’re still wondering why all the fuss, if you look closer, you can see that Beyonce is actually covering Jesus.
So, in a way, she’s “replacing” him, which is why even her diehard fans took offense with it. And they’re not shy about letting her know it, as a scroll through the comments to the photo will quickly reveal.
Most of their replies come with hashtags like #classless or #noclass and #disrespectful. Again, it’s not difficult to understand where they’re coming from, if Beyonce really did pose for the shot on purpose the way she did.
