This is the exec who mocked her in email exchange with Scott Rudin, who called her a talentless “spoiled brat”

They say a photo is worth a thousand words, and this definitely applies to this one. Angelina Jolie, A-list actress and director, is shown in the photo above with Sony Pictures co-chairwoman Amy Pascal at The Hollywood Reporter Women in Entertainment Power 100 Breakfast.

The event took place 2 days after #GOP (a hackers group called Guardians of Peace) leaked more emails obtained from Sony in last month’s hack, including conversations between Pascal and producer Scott Rudin, who called Angelina a “minimally talented spoiled brat.”

It’s true, these words didn’t come from Pascal, but she didn’t exactly run in Jolie’s defense either. In fact, she did nothing of the sort, trying to placate Pascal (who was throwing a tamper because Jolie wanted David Fincher to direct her in “Cleopatra” and he wanted him for the “Jobs” biopic) by telling him that things would be done his way – and Angie would just “live with it.”

By not saying anything in relation to Rudin’s nasty comments about Jolie, Pascal implicitly agreed with him.

Angelina must have heard of this scandal (read: there’s no way she doesn’t know about it, because it’s a very big and embarrassing mess and it concerns her), judging by the death stare she gives her former friend.

There is always the possibility that this photo comes with a context that we don’t know, that Angelina was surprised or was reacting to something Pascal was saying, but imagining that she’s trying to kill the Sony exec with her stare is infinitely more fun for us gossip lovers. Especially since it seems that Pascal is in the middle of a very passionate remark – perhaps she’s trying to defend herself?
