The man does not have a care in the world, beer cans and food tray next to him prove it

This past Wednesday, folks trying to watch the Washington Nationals vs. Los Angeles Dodgers game at the Dodger Stadium in the US got a wee distracted by the sight of a baseball fan sunbathing during the match.

The man was photographed in complete sunbathing gear, i.e. shorts and nothing else, by other baseball fans who happened to be at the Dodgers Stadium at the time he decided to show his full figure to the world.

One of these photos was shared with the online community by Twitter user @Gregofla, and is available next to this article. Not at all surprisingly, the picture went viral shortly after being posted on the social media site.

The image shows the man, whose identity has not yet been revealed, lying in the sun, looking like the most relaxed baseball fan ever to watch a game at the Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, US.

For those who have been too distracted by the sight of this man's silhouette glistening in the sun to notice (oh, how jealous world-famous sparkly vampire Edward Culled must be), it must be said that several beer cans and food trays are resting right next to him.

This is yet to be confirmed, but chances are that the beer and the hot dogs this man enjoyed while watching the game are partly to blame for the fact that the Dodgers' fan ended up feeling so at ease with the world that he took off his shirt to sunbathe.

Daily Mail tells us that, shortly after photos of this man hit the online community, folks started referring to him as the Dodgers fan of the year and as the new American hero. It's still unclear what the baseball enthusiast thinks about these nicknames.

Interestingly enough, there are some people who suspect that the man was hired by somebody to sunbathe during the Washington Nationals vs. Los Angeles Dodgers game, and that the entire affair was no more and no less than a prank designed to stir some giggles.

In fact, there are some rumors that the prank was set up by American comedian Jimmy Kimmel. Still, neither Jimmy Kimmel nor folks in his entourage have until now made any comments on the incident, so there is no way to tell if there is more to this theory than pure speculation.

Not too long ago, one other baseball fan was caught on camera in a rather unflattering position during a Yankees game. Long story short, 26-year-old Andrew Rector was filmed napping in his seat. To take revenge for the fact that thousands of people poked fun at time over this incident, he decided to sue ESPN.
