Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia should make official its first handsets running under Microsoft's Windows Phone operating system as soon as next week, and a photo of what allegedly would be the Nokia Sabre handset has just made an appearance into the wild. We already had the chance to have a look at the Nokia 800 smartphone from the company, and now another Windows Phone handset from Nokia appears to have made it into the wild.

Next week, during the Nokia World conference, the leading mobile phone maker is expected to announce the release of more than just one smartphone powered by Microsoft's mobile OS.

For the time being, however, no specific info on the devices that will be unveiled has emerged, nor on when they might be released on the market.

The Nokia Sabre that can be seen in the photo to the left allegedly packs a 1.4GHz application processor inside, the same as most of the recently unveiled Mango handsets do.

Moreover, the new mobile phone is expected to arrive on shelves with 1GB of RAM, and to sport a large 3.5-inch touchscreen display that can deliver a WVGA resolution.

The handset also comes with a 5-megapixel photo snapper on the back. And will certainly include a nice range of connectivity capabilities as well.

Apparently, the new device might be priced somewhere in the 300-350 EUR (around $410-$480) range, which will make it an appealing addition to the Windows Phone Mango series of devices, that's for sure.

In the photo attached to this article, available courtesy of Pocketnow, you cannot see the new device with the usual Back, Home and Search Windows Phone buttons, though they should be there, as they are on any other similar handset.

Hopefully, all the necessary details on this device will become official for users as soon as next week, so keep an eye on this space to learn additional info on the matter.
