Recent reports suggested that T-Mobile was gearing up for the launch of Sony’s Xperia Z smartphone on its network and, while no official confirmation on the matter has emerged, more proof that this might indeed happen is now available.

A photo taken with a certain C6606 smartphone from Sony has been spotted on Picasa, and it is said to show that Xperia Z is indeed coming to T-Mobile’s network.

The EXIF data attached to the photo also shows that the camera of the device should be of at least 8.6-megapixel, and that it was powered by software 10.1.1.B.0.108_3_f600, build number 10.1.1.B.0.108, as Blog of Mobile reports.

The handset packs support for LTE 2100 (B1) / 1900 (B2) / 1700 (B4) / 850 (B5) / 700 (B17) MHz, W-CDMA 2100 (I) / 1900 (II) / 1700 (IV) / 900 (VIII) / 850 (V) MHz, and GSM, the news site also reports.
