The second milestone release of the Phoronix Test Suite 3.8 (Bygland) has been announced.

Phoronix Test Suite is the most comprehensive benchmarking and testing platform available for Linux and designed to carry out qualitative and quantitative benchmarks in a clean, reproducible, and easy-to-use manner.

Phoronix Test Suite 3.8, codenamed Bygland, is expected to launch sometime this quarter, but the developers haven't specified a date.

Highlights of Phoronix Test Suite 3.8 Milestone 2:
