Although many analysts believe Apple shouldn’t push forward with its bi-annual “S” iPhone upgrades, it appears that this time around things will be no different. Literally.

According to a new hardware leak this week, the iPhone 5S will be identical in shape and size to the iPhone 5. Only the internals are slightly tweaked, and it appears Apple will not be introducing any revolutionary technologies in 2013.

A number of repair firms have shared a set of images with MacRumors, showing the display assembly of the next-generation iPhone from Apple.

The panel looks almost identical to the one found in the iPhone 5, and at least the shape and size are exactly the same.

One thing worth noting is that the back of the assembly sports a pair of connectors that seem to match the recently leaked iPhone 5S logic board.
