One of the handsets coming from Philips that have been spotted into the wild not too long ago is the Xenium X830, which surfaced for the first time on the Web a little more than a month ago. The handset seems to be rather attractive when it comes to the exterior design it features, and now a series of official photos with it has emerged, along with some more specs on the handset's functionality.

The most attractive feature that the new mobile phone should come to the market with is its battery, which is reportedly capable of delivering up to ten hours of talk time, or up to 1.5 months of standby time. In case the company measures time as we do, the battery life that this device comes with is more than impressive, even when it comes to a handset included in the Xenium series, which is already known to boast long talk and standby time.

The specifications list of the Philips Xenium X830 also shows a quad-band GSM connectivity with GPRS and EDGE, a 3-inch TFT touchscreen display that boasts a 320 x 240-pixel resolution and support for 262k colors, a 5-megapixel photo snapper that features auto focus, a stereo Bluetooth connectivity, an FM-radio with RDS, and a MiniUSB port.

In addition, the handset also comes around with music and video players, as well as with 47MB of internal memory, coupled with a microSDHC memory card slot that supports up to 8GB of additional storage space, all packed inside a device that measures 105 x 53 x 15.5 millimeters and weighs 120 grams.

As one can easily see, the new Philips Xenium X830 can attract users on its side due to its design and the long battery life it comes around with, for there are no other impressive features in the package. Moreover, some of the functionalities that would appeal to users, such as the 3G connectivity or Wi-Fi, are missing. There are no exact details on the pricing and availability of the phone at the moment, yet more should surface in the near future, so stay tuned to learn more on it.
