Philips X650 Xenium is yet another mobile phone that comes to the market with impressive battery life, only that this time around it seems that the device is set to become available for purchase in more markets besides Asia and Russia, where the other such handsets usually landed. Given the fact that this is a Xenium phone, one would think it to boast a long-lasting battery, and so it does, with a month of standby time (720 hours) and with 8 hours of talk time.

As anyone would expect from such a device, the battery life is the one that impresses the most, while the rest of the specs, although quite appealing, are not out of the ordinary. For example, the new Philips Xenium X650 comes to the market in a sliding form factor, sporting a 2.4-inch TFT LCD screen that can deliver a 240 x 320 pixel resolution and support for up to 262K colors.

In addition, the specification list of the handset also shows a 3.2-megapixel photo snapper with auto focus, as well as FM radio, Bluetooth connectivity, USB port, 30MB of internal memory, and a microSD memory card slot meant to enhance the storage capabilities of the device. In terms of connectivity options, the Philips Xenium X650 has been packed with support for GSM (900/1800/1900MHz), GPRS.

The new mobile phone measures 104.5 x 52 x 16.75 mm and weighs 133.9g. As stated above, the specs of the device are not too impressive, so it should come to the shelves targeted at the mid-level market, which means that its pricing will also be set accordingly. At the same time, the handset looks good enough to be able to make a few fans among mobile phone users out there. Stay tuned to learn more details on the availability and pricing of the new Philips X650 Xenium.
