Philips just announced the launch of a new set of computer peripherals that are now available for users willing to switch from the traditional wired setup for mouse and keyboard to the wireless technology that allows more freedom of movement without the burden of wires and
such.

The two new Philips computer devices are designed with comfort in mind and they are aimed at providing an ergonomic feel and high performance to users, while at the same time offering a clean cut design and a glossy finish that prevents dirt build up. The high precision Philips mouse is now available under the SPM7711 commercial designation and it provides a high sensibility thanks to the integrated 1000 dots per inch, DPI for short, capable laser sensor.

In order to avoid any unwanted interferences, the new Philips mouse is using the 2.4Ghz transmission frequency and a smart power management function ensures a high battery life that can be extended for even one year. As this wireless mouse is aimed at providing a comfortable using experience, it is covered in soft silicone and its glossy surface is very easy to clean.

The Philips wireless keyboard, known as SPT5701, comes with a number of innovative features that are not met on other mainstream devices, like the drainage holes that are designed to prevent damages from accidental spills as well as easy to use hotkeys that are aimed at providing users with a faster access to all important and current operations.

The integrated 4-way scroll wheel that is paired with accurate optics allows for fast scrolling and other operations while the power management functions are extending the battery lifetime even for up to seven months. In order to provide a comfortable experience to its users, the new Philips wireless keyboard is too covered in soft silicone, just like the new mouse. Both of these new products are now readily available and the keyboard comes with a price tag of $119, while the mouse is sporting a price of $79.
