Several videos have popped up online documenting the crash and sinking of a ferry in the Philippines on Friday night.

The MV St. Thomas Aquinas passenger ship collided with the Sulpicio Express 7 cargo ship.

A video report of the aftermath of the crash shows how the ship has been left with a large hole in it. The ferry sank, killing 52 people, as I have informed you.

“Rescue operation which suspended Saturday due to strong winds and high waves, resumed Sunday morning. However, the oil spill has hampered rescue because it affects visibility, skin of the divers,” a spokesperson for the Philippine Coast Guard Station in the Cebu province said, according to Web Pro News.

Rescuers are in jeopardy as the ferry crash has caused a massive oil spill which includes 31,700 gallons (120,000 liters) of bunker oil.
