Singer Phil Collins slammed rock band Oasis after suffering years of insults from the Wonderwall band.

Noel and his brother Liam Gallagher repeatedly insulted Collins, calling him boring and hateful, which made Phil furious.

He said: "They're rude and not as talented as they think they are. I won't mince words here but they've had a go at me personally."

Back then Noel said: "People f***ing hate c**ts like Phil Collins - and if they don't, they f***ing should."

And as recently as June, he groaned: "Why did he sell so many records in the '80s? I mean, f***ing hell."
